Marketplace personas are pre-built and licensed (potentially to others). Custom Builds are designed from scratch around your brand, audience, and visual direction — and they are private to you. No one else will ever license your custom persona.
How much does a custom build cost?
Pricing starts at $250 for standard builds and scales based on persona depth, gallery size, and revision rounds. Premium builds ($1,500–Custom) include richer editorial direction. Editorial-tier builds and exclusive ownership start at $5,000+.
How many revisions are included?
All custom builds include up to 3 revision rounds during week 3. Additional revisions can be added at a per-round rate. Major changes to the brief mid-build may extend the timeline.
Do I own the persona outright?
Yes. Custom Builds come with a private commercial license — the persona is not sold or licensed to anyone else. License terms cover paid ads, brand campaigns, and long-term use. Full transfer-of-ownership options are available at the Editorial tier.
Can I sign an NDA?
Yes. We're happy to sign a mutual NDA before discussing your brief in detail. Note this in your application and our team will send one over.
What if I'm not happy with the direction?
We're built around a 3-revision process so direction issues get resolved during week 3. If you cancel before the visual draft is shared, we offer a 50% refund. Cancellations after the draft is shared are not refundable.
